The Moose Jaw Devons did something Tuesday evening that no other team has been able to do thus far this season – they defeated the Regina Wolfpack. The Wolfpack came into the game sporting a 9-0 record in the Saskatchewan Premier Midget AAA League, but a big inning by the Devons helped them win 4-3 at Ross Wells Park. – June 5, 2013

The Moose Jaw Fire Department did not respond to any calls for service between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday.
The Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 58 calls for service between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday, including six 911 calls, two disputes, two cases of threats, one intoxicated person, one case of property damage, a report of a dangerous dog and one case of harassment.
Police also responded to three hits and runs that resulted in damage estimated at $1,000 and two of incidents remain under investigation for potential charges.
Mischief to a vehicle on the 400 block of Fairford Street East left an estimated $500 damage, but police have no suspects or witnesses.
Theft from a vehicle on the zero block of Manitoba Street East is still under investigation. A guitar was stolen from the vehicle.
