Government investing to improve stock growers' lots

New investments from the government are making Sask. livestock growers happy, according to a representative of the Saskatchewan Stock Growers Association (SSGA).

Lyle Stewart (centre, at podium) speaks at the Saskatchewan Stock Growers Association (SSGA) Annual General Meeting Monday morning at the Moose Jaw Exhibition Centre. 

"(The province) is a big supporter of the industry, and investing in research is going to help grow our industry," said Chad MacPherson, general manager of the SSGA. "We're very appreciative of the government's investment in our industry."
