As Amber Ward was ushered back into cells following her court appearance Monday, approximately a dozen people shuffled out of the Moose Jaw provincial court room.

Approximately a dozen people were in the court room to show their support for the woman, who pleaded guilty more than a month ago to charges stemming from a March 19 home invasion.
"About half of the bodies in the courtroom have written letters of support for Ms. Ward," said her legal counsel, Tim McLeod, who was seeking an adjournment for a few more days so the letters could be considered before Ward is sentenced.
The adjournment was granted, but not only so the letters could be considered: the courtroom's audio recording equipment was not working.
Ward will receive her sentence on Wednesday. You can follow Justin Crann on Twitter.
