Two camps will be offered this summer at YaraCentre, introducing new themes and activities, as well as bringing back old favourites.
Games Around the Globe is the first camp starting July 7, and runs until the 10th from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
"Kids will get to visit different countries and explore different cultures," said Acacia Sorenson, summer program coordinator who dreamt up this summer camp.
"They will also get to experience games and sports played around the globe that they might otherwise not be exposed to. It's something different and unique."
This camp will give kids the opportunity to try sports like Quidditch, Wicketball, Crazy Golf and Sepak Takraw.
Different team mascots are also expected to make an appearance during the Games Around the Globe.
Survivor Camp, kicks off July 21 and runs until the 24th from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. each day, with the Millers baseball team scheduled to visit the camp.
"We've done this camp in the past, but the kids love the competition," said Sorenson. "No one gets voted off the island."
In addition, YaraCente will be hosting Fun Fridays starting the first Friday in July from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., with different organized events taking place each week.
