The Edmonton Prospects hadn't hit a home run all season. Thursday their three solo shots were the difference as the Prospects beat the Moose Jaw Miller Express 8-5 in Western Major Baseball League at Ross Wells Park.

Fire calls 

The Moose Jaw Fire Department received one call for service between 7 a.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday. 

The Lillooet Station crews responded to Grandview Place for a hazardous materials call.

Police calls

The Moose Jaw Police Service received 54 calls for service between 7 a.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday including five thefts, one threat, one fireworks complaint, one verbal dispute and one noise complaint.

Police are looking into a possible charge over a breach of court ordered curfew, also a possible charge for the driver of a silver coloured Malibu vehicle that was reported to have been driving erratically. 

Police are still investigating a theft of a cell phone, track jacket, a Kenwood car stereo and a $5 iPod cord. All incidents are separate.
