Friday was the second day of the annual festival spanning nine blocks on Main Street. The festival will close down at 7 p.m. today. Klassen Graphics, said a lot of people stopped by the booth.

Fire calls

The Moose Jaw Fire Department received two calls for service between 7 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday.

Headquarters Crew responded to the 0 block of Thatcher Drive East for a vehicle fire.

Crews also responded to the 1200 block of Henleaze Avenue for a hazardous materials call. 

Police calls

The Moose Jaw Police Service received 61 calls for service from 7 a.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Sunday including two calls for mischief to vehicles, one barking dog complaint, one threat complaint, one electrical fire in a truck and one regarding racing.

Police placed charges on a man who was in the possession of drugs, a male who was caught with liquor in public, and seized a vehicle for 60 days after charging a man with impaired driving.

Charges are pending for one assault and one unwanted guest who was held in a cell until she sobered up.

Police are still investigating a separate assault complaint.
