It was all fun in the sun Thursday afternoon down in Wakamow Valley, as the city's youth headed to the park for the annual Kids' Day. Although the event kicked off with a bit of a slow start, Kelly Gross with the Wakamow Valley Authority said that by noon, things really started to pick up. —July 12, 2013

Fire calls

The Moose Jaw Fire Department had no calls for service to report between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday.

Police calls

The Moose Jaw Police Service received 47 calls for service between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday, including three disputes, two shoplifting reports, two erratic driver complaints, a noise complaint, a theft of a vehicle, an unregistered vehicle and a disturbance.

Police charged an individual for driving the unregistered vehicle. They charged a second driver for driving with a suspended license.

They continue to investigate one of the erratic driver complaints and the stolen vehicle.
