Moose Jaw man charged in Craven firework incident

A Moose Jaw man has been arrested and charged after a woman was injured by a firework projectile at the Craven Country Jamboree.


The woman was struck in the face by the projectile, which was fired at close range on Saturday.

There is no update on her condition, but she has been hospitalized.

Following an investigation by Lumsden RCMP, the Moose Jaw man was charged with criminal negligence causing bodily harm.

He is scheduled to appear in Regina provincial court on September 9, while the Lumsden RCMP continue to investigate the incident.
