Mortlach couple to take a stand against CP

Terry Bittles understands he is “peeing into the wind,” but the Mortlach resident plans to stand up to railway giant Canadian Pacific (CP).

Bittles and his wife Sandy are in the process of renovating their home, which stands approximately 150 feet north of CP’s main line. The couple has already re-insulated the entire front side of their home and is in the process of replacing the windows in an effort to “dumb down” the noise from the hundreds of trains that pass by them every month.
