Through six innings, the game could have gone either way. Unfortunately, a throwing error in the top of the seventh inning changed the outcome and the Park Hotel Colts won back-to-back championship titles.

Fire calls:

The Moose Jaw Fire Department responded to one call for service between 7 a.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday. Headquarters Fire Station responded to a garage fire on the 0 block of High Street West. 

Police calls:

The Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 48 calls for service between 7 a.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday, including two separate incidents of a male passed out. One was a tourist travelling who needed a place to sleep overnight, and the other was an intoxicated male. 

Charges were made to a driver who ran a stop sign causing a two-car collision and resulting in damage of $10,000. 

Police are still investigating theft of gas, an erratic driver, cheque fraud, and one assault.
