The Moose Jaw Fire Department responded to one call for service between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday involving an activated fire alarm on the 1000 block of Athabasca Street West.
The Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 50 calls for service between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday, including the execution of six warrants, three breached court orders, two suspicious persons, two disputes, one hit and run, one case of a dangerous dog on the loose, one unwanted guest and one case of threats that was mediated.
Police are still investigating three incidents of mischief to vehicles – 200 block of High Street West, 300 block of Duffield Street West and 300 block of Oxford Street West – that resulted in an estimated $250 damage.
Also under investigation is a break and enter into a vacant home on the 400 block of Ominica Street West, a theft from items in a vehicle on the 400 block of Fairford Street West, and an assault on the 100 block of High Street West that left an adult female with minor injuries.
Police issued three-day license suspensions to two adult females following an “alert” on an approved screening device.
An adult male was issued an open liquor ticket on the 200 block of Iroquois Street East after reports of a possible impaired driver.
Another adult male was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property on Buttercup Crescent.
