Young Holy Trinity students remain on ‘very good path’

Reading levels of Grade 1, 2 and 3 students in the Holy Trinity Catholic School Division (HTCSD) surpassed expectations in 2013-14.

The Reading 'G-L-O' Chart at the Holy Trinity Catholic School Division's Moose Jaw office details the progress its Grade 1, 2 and 3 students made during the 2013-14 school year. Students' progress was presented to HTCSD board members at its meeting in Swift Current on Aug. 18. 

According to documents obtained by the Times-Herald, June 2014 reading results showed 85 per cent of Grade 1 students, 81 per cent of Grade 2 students and 84 per cent of Grade 3 students were at or above grade level – each having exceeded the 80 per cent target.
