Moose Jaw’s Jack Smith wants to encourage civility and teamwork within city council, which is one of the main reasons he is running for a council seat in the upcoming municipal election.

“There’s too much arguing at city council,” Smith told the Times-Herald on Wednesday, one day after he handed in nomination papers to city hall.    The 57-year-old Top Line Auto and Truck Salvage owner said council chambers should be an arena in which all elected officials are welcome to offer opinions. He added once council reaches a majority decision, it should work together and move onto the next topic.

    I was just wondering if the civility extends to the Times-Herald by wiping out all of the comments made by others...
