Marzolf, a product and systems consultant for Zep Manufacturing of Canada, officially announced his candidacy for the PSSD board on Tuesday.
In a press release issued Tuesday, Marzolf, who is noted as being born and raised in Moose Jaw, states that children should be in the forefront of all decision making.
A father of two, Marzolf ran in the last board election four years ago.
In 2005, the first election for the newly-amalgamated Prairie South board, Marzolf finished seventh among the contenders for the five board seats from the Moose Jaw and area subdivision of the PSSD.
He finished 87 votes behind the fifth place vote-getter, Gord Stewart.
