An audience member knocked over Motley Crue guitarist Mick Mars and grabbed frontman Vince Neil before being tackled during the Estevan stop of the band's cross-Canada tour.

One night after their performance in Moose Jaw, veteran rockers Mötley Crüe took the stage at Estevan's Spectra Place.

All appeared to be going smoothly until a member of the audience got a touch too rowdy.

The band was wrapping up a performance of Primal Scream when an audience member rushed the stage, knocking over guitarist Mick Mars and grabbing frontman Vince Neil before being tackled and taken off the stage.

"What the f--- is wrong with you, you f---ing idiot?" drummer Tommy Lee shouted as the man was being hauled off.

Neil then told the audience, "We might be back," before the band departed the stage. They later returned to close out the set.

Video of the incident was initially available on YouTube, but has since been removed.

The "Idiot" should have been Sh*t Kicked and thrown to the Lions ! This BS is what screws up a show for fans and makes Canadian fans look bad! Estevan was lucky they finished the set.

It was actually Tommy Lee that yelled the profanities and Vince Neil that said "we might be back". That guy could have really hurt Mick barrelling into him like that. He has a rare bone disease. People just don't think.
