No fatalities in 10 vehicle collision

Lumsden RCMP and other emergency service personnel remain on scene on Highway 11 Northbound, where 10 vehicles collided on a bridge and two semis went off the road near the bridge, according to an RCMP release.

One of several vehicles involved in a ten vehicle collision on Highway 11 northbound. Lumsden RCMP report there were no life-threatening injuries.

One of the semis is currently leaking diesel fuel.

There were no life-threatening injuries, although one patient was airlifted by STARS and others have been transported to hospital.

Delays are expected to last throughout the day while vehicles are removed and the fuel is pumped out of the semi and cleaned up.

Poor visibility and road conditions are seen as factors in the collision.
