As was reported in Thursday’s Times-Herald, Cancer Wars blogger Ken Sagal lost his “war” with cancer.
Sagal agreed to blog about the details of his battle with multiple myeloma — a form of bone cancer. His blogs were well written and informative. But more than that, they were personal and detailed and gave readers an insight into what one cancer patient was going through.
But as much as it was his thoughts and his road travelled his way, many others with cancer found they could relate to his writings. And those caring for cancer patients gained some insight into what the patient is going through.
We received messages from people who said the blog allowed them to relate to what they were going through to family and friends and for that we are very grateful. May he now rest peacefully without pain.
