The City of Moose Jaw has been very fortunate lately.
For the past few weeks, the city has played host to many fun activities and festivals, all while uniting the community.
From Canada Day celebrations to Sidewalk Days, it seems like everyone came out for at least a day to enjoy what this city has to offer.
The weather has finally been good to us all, and in return it seems like we’re being good to each other.
We came off as fun and friendly to outsiders who visited beautiful Moose Jaw this weekend. New friends were made and old acquaintances were united.Especially great were the local businesses who came out to show support.
It’s the retired senior citizens who make communities so strong through volunteering.
It’s the minimum wage worker who takes a day off to celebrate festivities with family and friends. It’s the parents who bring out their kids to socialize with other neighbourhood children. It’s each and every one of us who help build this community and continue to work hard to keep it strong.
These festivals and community events are a great way to celebrate with loved ones, but it’s also a way to thank each other for this place we all call home.
Thank you, Moose Jaw.
