After final votes were tallied for the 2007 provincial election Monday, Saskatchewan Party candidate Warren Michelson retained his seat in Moose Jaw North.
Michelson was declared the MLA-designate on election day, Nov. 7, after defeating NDP incumbent Glenn Hagel 3,992 to 3,891.
Absentee votes, of which there were 65, were added to those totals Monday.
According to Elections Saskatchewan, Michelson received 3,960 votes, followed by Hagel with 3,927, John Morris (Liberal) with 627 and Deanna Robillard (Green) with 126.
Since Michelson's margin of victory is a mere 33 votes, there is still the possibility of a judicial recount in Moose Jaw North.
The final day for candidates to request a recount is Nov. 23.
