Tryouts for Summer Games coming up

The South West District for Culture, Recreation and Sport is looking for interested athletes to try out for a variety of sports for the Saskatchewan Summer Games taking place from July 29-Aug. 4 in Meadow Lake.

Athletes looking to try out for archery can do so at the Recreation Centre in Swift Current (350 6th Avenue NE) from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Soccer tryouts will occur on Apr. 29 at the Irwin School Soccer Field in Swift Current for under 13 boys from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

There will also be tennis tryouts on June 23-24 in Moose Jaw for those born in 1998-2001.

Triathlon tryouts will occur May 20 in Swift Current from kids aged 12-13 and 14-15 years old.
