There was frost for the annual Frosty Classic at the Lynbrook Golf and Country Club on Saturday morning.

After the frost dissipated an hour after the shotgun scheduled start, 56 golfers set out in 8-degree temperature.

The tournament is made up of two-person teams and that format is six holes of best ball, six holes of alternate shot and six holes of best score.

The team with the lowest total score was Kelly Larson and Fred Tremblay, with a score of 76.

Closest to the pin for the ladies was Cherolyn Bailey on the seventh hole and the mens’ closest to the pin on the seventh hole was Bill McLean. The longest putt on the first hole was Dustin Usher, while Margot Swenson has the longest putt on hole 18.
