For the second straight weekend Moose Jaw basketball will be in the provincial spotlight.

A quartet of local basketball players and will take part in the first Daytona Homes Basketball Saskatchewan Senior Classic. The all-star games will feature the top Grade 12 basketball players from the north and south of the province.
Ryder Epoch and Jacob Laxdal from the 4A provincial champion Peacock Toilers and Aidan Saladana from the city champion Central Cyclones will take part in the game.
The two teams feature 10 players each and of the 20 boys selected only five are from outside of Saskatoon and Regina.
Caronport's Lauren Janzen was selected to be on the South team in the girls game. She scored 22 points as the Cougars won the 3A girls provincial title last weekend.
The event is similar to the Senior Bowl in football.
The girls game will be held at 5 p.m. at Regina's Balfour Collegiate, while the boys game will tip-off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Following the game a Mr. and Miss Basketball Saskatchewan will be named.
