The second Moose Jaw High School Badminton League night saw the teams play best-of-three crossover games and some teams start to come to the fore.

Central's Max Pilsworth returns a shot in boys singles play at the Moose Jaw High School senior badminton league night Tuesday.
Max Pilsworth from Central won the boys singles competition for the second straight week. He topped his pool and beat Nathan Goddard from Cornerstone 21-10, 21-12 in the boys final. Nathan Lewis from Cornerstone finished third as he beat Avery Bender from Peacock 21-16, 21-14.
Libby Epoch from Peacock remained unbeaten, but had a prior commitment and wasn't able to play in a crossover game in girls singles.
She beat Avonlea's Mackenzie Kuffner 21-10 in her toughest pool game.
Kuffner ended up winning the top crossover game 21-7, 21-12 over Laura Taylor from Cornerstone.
Magbeni Keita from Central beat Awar Odhiang from Cornerstone 21-15, 21-17 to finish third.
Central's mixed doubles team of Paige Newans and Dalton Wolfe won for the second week in a row as they beat fellow Cyclones Dax Whitehead and Emily Pinter 21-6, 24-22. It was the second week in a row the two teams had met in the final.
In the third place game Vanier's Tyler Ma and Jenna Coates beat Vanier's Michael Blazieko and Tannis Carle 21-18, 21-14.
In the girls doubles final Diana Lumbala and Hannah Hildebrand beat Peacock's Emma Maelde and Caitlyn Kitts in one set — 21-16.
Jaycee Richards and Sulia Moses from Peacock beat Chantel Miller and Emma Dombowsky from Avonlea in the third place game 21-11, 22-20.
Sheldon Daniel and Kashton Janzen from Avonlea won the boys doubles final 21-11, 21-11 over Central's Daniel Holzer and Levi Kelly. Janzen won the boys double final in the first week while playing with Ryley Ludwar.
Riley Bagg and Josh Bryant beat Blake Olsen and Zac Klyne 21-12, 14-21, 21-15 in an all-Peacock third-place game.
