The local teams finished .500 during the opening day of the Moose Jaw Senior Women's Fastball Tournament.

Sheri Logan hit a walk-off single to drive home Jana Gallant as the Hustlers came from behind to beat the Regina Impact 8-7. In the other games, the Regina Fusion beat the Moose Jaw Heat 11-5 and the Moose Jaw Colts beat the Moose Jaw Slammers 5-0.
Action continues all day Saturday at Caribou Heights and the A final will be contested at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
The Hustlers trailed 5-2 and 7-6, but rallied to win their opening game. Amanda Leik started both rallied with lead-off singles which led to her scoring. In the final inning, Leik and Gallant got on base and Taylor Phillips and Logan drove them in with none out to end the game.
The Hustlers scored four runs in the fourth to go ahead 6-5, but it was short-lived. Rachelle Grado Janelle Acott each drove in a run in the fourth.
Acott finished a pair of doubles, two RBI and a run.
Phillips was the winning pitcher for the Hustlers.
