Team Saskatchewan couldn't bounce back from their first loss the day before as they spotted Nova Scotia a 3-0 lead en route to an 8-1 loss Saturday at the Baseball Canada Cup.
Dakota Fedak had the lone run for Saskatchewan in the fourth inning, while Ben Douglas of the Moose Jaw Cardinals was 0-for-3 at the plate.
Fedak's score made the game 3-1, but the Nova Scotians pumped the prairie boys for two in the bottom of the fourth and three more before it was all over.
Saskatchewan finishes the round robin portion with a 3-2 record, good enough for third place behind Nova Scotia and Alberta, tied at 4-1. They will take on Manitoba in the medal round Sunday at 12:00 p.m.
