Three home runs in the second inning were enough to propel the Canadians to their fourth straight Memorial Field Fastball League title Monday night.
The Canadians beat the Park Hotel Giants 8-1 in Game 4 to win the series three games to one.
Terry Banilevic put the Giants ahead with a solo home run in the top of the second inning.
Playoff Most Valuable Player Brett Friesen replied with a two-out three run home run in the bottom half of the inning to give the Canadians a 3-1 lead. Dane Roy hit a two-run homer and Dave Helland hit a solo shot in the next at-bat to put the Canadians ahead 6-1.
That was enough for the Playoff Pitching MVP Xavier Tremblay who only allowed three hits and struck out four in five innings.
Jeff Weekes hit a two out double off of the fence in the fifth to put the Canadians seven runs up after five innings and end the game.
