It will be an all Moose Jaw senior men’s fastball final as the Moose Jaw Remax will take on the awaiting MJ Canadians for the league championship.

The Remax punched their ticket to the finals after beating the Moose Jaw Giants in four games and capped off the series on Tuesday with a 12-2 win.

Remax got off to a quick start, getting all nine batters of their order up at the plate and scoring three.

Lindsay Tolley, first baseman for Remax, said getting the early start was not only a key to Tuesday’s game, but a key to the entire series.

“I think we got some momentum in a few games by getting a good start and getting some runs scored early,” said Tolley. “I think that carried over, our offence can get contagious.

“You need some runs to beat the Giants, so in a lot of the games, we got those runs early. That was a case tonight.”
