The Moose Jaw Miller Express tried to cough up a victory.

However, closer Jason Renner was able to secure the 6-5 win over the Lethbridge Bulls on Saturday night at Ross Wells Park.
The Express had a six-run fifth inning, thanks to a grand slam from Andrew Stinnent.
The ball game looked over after that fifth inning, as the Express took a commanding 6-0 lead.
However, the Bulls came up to score four runs in the ninth inning to just fall within a run and take their fourth loss of the season.
Stinnent powered the offence, with a double in the fourth inning and a single in the seventh inning — just a double shy of the cycle.
Brandon Acosta was the winning pitcher for the Express. He allowed just one run on two hits, walked six batters and struck out nine over seven innings.
The victory puts the Express’ record at 5-3 and hold just half-a-game lead in the Central division over the Swift Current Indians.
The Bulls and Express will wrap up their weekend series with a game today at 2 p.m. at Ross Wells Park.
