The Vanier Spirits senior girls basketball team kept their undefeated season intact after beating the Central Cyclones on the road Tuesday 80-46.
The Spirits are now 3-0 to start the Moose Jaw High School Girls Basketball regular season, or 6-0 if you count the three wins on the weekend at the Ned Andreoni Memorial Tournament.
Although the tournament was successful, head coach Bob Gottselig said there may have been a bit of a hangover from the heavy workload after the three-game weekend.
The Spirits lead 49-21 at the half, surrendering only three points in the second quarter as they upped their intensity on the defensive end and created turnovers.
