The Peacock Toilers won their first Moose Jaw Invitational Basketball Tournament title in four years with a 72-51 win over the Central Cyclones Saturday night.
Adam Bachiu scored 23 points to lead the Toilers in the all-Moose Jaw final. Josh Huschi added 16 and Brock Overs had 13 for Peacock.
Austin Miller led the Cyclones with 11 points, while Jacques Geyer added nine points.
The Toilers beat Prince Albert St. Mary 91-69 in one of the semifinals while the Cyclones beat High River (Alta.) 76-64 in the other semifinal.
Bachiu, Huschi and Central’s Michael Holzer were named to the tournament all-star team.
