The Peacock Toilers ended the Moose Jaw senior girls basketball league’s regular season with a 69-65 win over the Central Cyclones Thursday.
The Cyclones trailed by 10 at the half, but battled back to take a third quarter lead before the Toilers prevailed on their home floor.
Peacock was led by Jessica Williams who scored 13 points, while Brittany Hiscock added 11 points. Central’s Jina Barker led all scorers with 21 points while Alex Butler had 20 points.
Central will travel to face Vanier Tuesday in one semifinal, while Peacock will host Caronport Wednesday in the other semi.
In boys action, Peacock beat Central 77-58. Josh Huschi scored 27 points for Peacock, while Adam Bachiu added 16 and Kale Lewchak had 11. Central was led by Michael Holzer who had 29 points.
Peacock will host Vanier in the boys semifinal Tuesday, while Central will travel to Riverview/Cornerstone for Wednesday’s other semifinal.
