The Riverview/Cornerstone Royals showed they knew how to overcome adversity Wednesday night.
The Royals answered every challenge from the Central Cyclones and prevailed 102-84 to advance to the Moose Jaw high school senior boys city basketball final against Peacock Tuesday (8 p.m., SIAST).
Brody Wasmann scored 47 points to lead the Royals who trailed by 10 points after a quarter. Wasmann scored 19 points in the fourth quarter to ice the game. Ryan Cox added 22 for the Royals including 12 in a pivotal second quarter.
Central’s only senior Austin Miller had a superb game as he scored 28 points in the loss.
