It was a wild night on the ice during the quarterfinals of the Moose Jaw Ford Cash League at the Hillcrest Sports Centre.
Two of the four games went into an extra end and one of those saw the score nearly stretch onto a second scoreboard.
Ralph Courtnage stole a point to beat Chadd McKenzie’s A1 Tree Service team 14-13 in 11 ends. Ron Johnson also stole an extra end point as his Moose Jaw Toyota team beat Bill Ross 9-8.
Steven Slupski and his Nelson GM/Viterra team beat Ryan Wenarchuk and John’s Music 13-9 while Medi Chair/Keon’s Warren Marcotte beat Easy Care Living 10-4.
The semi-finals will be held next Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Hillcrest. Courtnage will meet Slupski’s Nelson GM/Viterra rink while Johnson’s Moose Jaw Toyota will battle Marcotte and Medi Chair/Keon.
