Slupski drops first at Dominion Championship

Hillcrest CC's Steven Slupski dropped his first game at the Dominion Curling Club Championship in Regina Thursday against Shaunavon's Grant Selvig 7-4.

Slupski forced Selvig to a single in the first and got a deuce in the second to lead 2-1 after two ends.

Selvig took the game over from there, scoring a three ender in third and another in the seventh to go on a win 7-4.

Slupski plays Robin Shillington from Prince Albert Friday morning at 9 a.m. before tangling with Battleford's Doug Horn at 8 p.m.
