Playoff action at curling centre

The teams are beginning to come down to the final two in the high school curling playoffs.


The Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre hosted more match ups on Monday afternoon and evening.

In the mixed division, Vanier defeated Cornerstone 16-1. In the girls action, Cornerstone beat Peacock 2.

In the early boys draw, Central 2 defeated Central 1 by a 9-5 decision and Peacock 2 was victorious 12-4 over Riverview.

In the late draw, Peacock edged Vanier 5-4 and Peacock 2 shutout Central 2 by a 14-0 score.

Action continues on Tuesday in the mixed division with Vanier leading 1-0 in the best of three over Cornerstone. In the action, it will be Vanier versus Peacock 2 and in girls action, Vanier plays Peacock. All games begin at 3:45 p.m. at the curling centre.
