The Lorraine Arguin team is just one goal away.

Left to right, lead Connie Fritzler, second Shelly Urquhart and third Donda Lee Deis sit at a head table in the Great Western Lounge at the Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre, as skip Lorraine Arguin addresses a crowd of supporters Wednesday evening. The quartet of curlers recieved a send-off party from the local curling community before heading to Yellowknife to compete in the 2014 Canadian Senior Curling Championships from March 22-29.

The Arguin rink had three goals this week — get to the playoffs, win their semifinal and win the final.

With a 7-4 victory over Marilyn Bodogh of Ontario in the senior women's curling championship semifinal on Friday evening, Arguin is headed to the final.

Arguin stole three points in the third end and held on to win, with the teams shaking hands after nine ends.

The rink will play Manitoba's Lois Fowler in the final on Saturday.
