It's still the same 100 yards that they have to play on, but the Moose Jaw Rugby Club's Nads are happy it's at home.
The Nads are playing their Saskatchewan Rugby Union Southern Division semifinal this weekend against the Regina Grads on their home turf at 2 p.m. Saturday, which longtime Nad Lorne Polupski thinks will be a big difference.
With there only being one division this year, and the Nads finishing in second place in the south, having this playoff game at home means they're having an exceptional year.
"This is a huge year for us," said Polupski. "We can't say enough about this year and the people who have helped us get here. This is number one. This is premier rugby. We've been Division II champs for more than I can remember, but in Division I it's been since the early 1980s since we can compete like this . . .
"Being in the semifinal game and having it here is huge for us. I hope a lot of people come out and we fill the sidelines."
The Nads are 1-0-1 against the Grads this season.
