Peacock beats Vanier in first-place battle

Josh Huschi ran for two touchdowns and threw for another as the Peacock Tornadoes beat the Vanier Vikings 36-14 in Moose Jaw High School Football League play.

The Tornadoes scored the first five touchdowns of the game in a battle for first place.

 

Lucas McKay also had two rushing touchdowns for the Tornadoes, while Huschi connected with Kyle Dalgarno for a 56-yard touchdown pass.

 

Vanier struck back when Josh Buchko caught a four yard touchdown pass and Chris Sanford caught a 75-yard touchdown pass.

 

The Tornadoes improve to 3-0, while the Vikings are now 2-2.
