Moose Jaw hosting touch football provincials Saturday

Three Moose Jaw teams will compete for the 2009 touch football provincial championship at Elks’ Field Saturday.The six-team field will feature the league champion Rebels, last year’s league champion Kittens and the G.O.A.T.The defending provincial champion Super Mega Ultimate Destructo Force returns from Regina while the Charges will also represent the capital. The Darkness from Saskatoon will round out the field.The teams will be in two pools of three with the top in each pool advancing to the semifinals. The final is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
