Tornadoes beat Vikings to advance to high school football final

The Peacock Tornadoes used a phenomenal first half to grab a 35-0 lead en route to a 38-14 win over the Vanier Vikings Saturday in semifinal action in the Moose Jaw High School Football League.

   

Lucas McKay had five- and eight-yard touchdown runs, while Josh Huschi ran in for an 11-yard touchdown while also throwing 35-yard and 22-yard touchdown passes to Braeden Lang for the Tornadoes.

Huschi also kicked a field goal for the Tornadoes.

Vanier scored on a Keegan Arnyek touchdown run and Arnyek also caught a six-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Froehlich.
