Swift Current shuts out Central in football semifinal

Dalton Fisher scored three touchdowns for the Swift Current Colts as they blanked the Central Cyclones 20-0 to advance to the Moose Jaw High School Football League final.

Led by a fearsome offensive line, the Colts running game led the way. Fisher scored on runs of 30, one and five yards for the Colts. Dale Buckingham also ran in a two-point convert.

The Colts took a 6-0 half time lead and their defence kept the Cyclones offence in check the rest of the way.

Swift Current will now face Peacock at 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 31 at Gutheridge Field.
