The Peacock Tornadoes capped their second straight perfect league season with a 19-0 victory over the Swift Current Colts in the Moose Jaw High School Football League final.
Lucas McKay opened the scoring late in the first quarter as he took an inside hand-off 16 yards for a touchdown.
The Colts conceded a safety and Peacock quarterback Josh Huschi dove in from a couple of yards out at the end of the first half to put the Tornadoes ahead 16-0.
Huschi added a 22-yard field goal in the third quarter and the Tornadoes defence did the rest as they claimed their second straight city title.
The Tornadoes will now advance to the 3A provincial semifinal Saturday, Nov. 7. They will travel to face either Regina O’Neill or Weyburn.
