Taylor Sokul caught two touchdown passes as the Saskatoon Bulldogs beat the Moose Jaw Raiders 14-0 to win the provincial Bantam football title Sunday afternoon at Elks Field.
The Bulldogs took the lead on a punt single before quarterback Colin Fraser threw an 18-yard touchdown pass to Sokul to put the Bulldogs up 8-0.
On the final play of the first half, Sokul caught a 42-yard bomb from Ross Hnidy to put Bulldogs up by a pair of touchdowns.
Moose Jaw’s defence stood tall Dalton Deets intercepted a pass and Austin Howe intercepted two Saskatoon passes. Howe’s second interception set up the Raiders best drive of the game, but their third-and-goal gamble came up short at the four yard line.
