Defensive battles in football don't come much closer than this.
The Saskatoon Titans scored points on a pair of punt singles in the final 10 minutes of the game to take a 2-0 victory over the Moose Jaw TiCats in the Football Sask Pee Wee provincial championship at Elk's Field Wednesday afternoon.
The Titans' Hunter Rowlett kicked both singles from inside the TiCats 25 yard line, the first with 8:36 remaining, the second with 5:18 to play.
The TiCats marched the ball 50 yards in five plays in the final three minutes but stalled at the Saskatoon 30 yard line, turning the ball over on downs with 33 seconds remaining.

It was an amazing game., despite the outcome for the Moose Jaw Vikings. They played amazing and should be proud to represent Moose Jaw the way that they did. The coaches & players did amazing considering they have only been a "team for a little over a week". Hold your Heads High boys, we all think you did great!! I have never seen so many people come to cheer on a minor league football game like there was yesterday.
