The Central Cyclones passing attack got into high gear Friday as they posted a 45-6 win over the Swift Current Colts in Moose Jaw High School Football League action.
“We played really well,” said Cyclones head coach Colin Belsher. “In the first our offensive line controlled the line and (quarterback) Bren Forbes really threw the ball well.
“Our receivers brought down everything we threw at them - no matter where it was.”
Daniel Bjorge had a pair of touchdown catches, while receivers Jacob Laboccetta and Reegan Carter also had touchdowns. Kyle Cooper and Jacques Van Heerden added touchdowns
The Cyclones (2-1) also got a field goal from Chris Brennan.
“Our defence was lights out all night as well,” said Belsher. “There was one series where Swift Current ran the ball pretty well, but other than that we shut them down pretty well all day.”
The Colts drop to 0-3 with the loss.
