Raiders score five touchdowns of more than 50 yards in 39-0 win

Three second quarter touchdowns by Ethan Douglas led the Ticats to a 32-8 win over the Bombers in Moose Jaw Minor Football League action Friday at Elks Field.

In the late Bantam game the Raiders beat the Colts 39-0.

Ticats 32 Bombers 8

Douglas finished with four touchdowns in all — all in the first half — to lead the Ticats to the win in Pee Wee action.

He opened the scoring with a 52-yard touchdown run before the Bombers responded by taking an 8-6 lead when Houston Ramage ran in from 13 yards out and Jackson Woloschuk kicked the two-point convert.

Douglas restored the Ticats lead with a nine-yard touchdown catch and 56- and 74-yard touchdown runs.

Preston Drake scored on a two-yard run for the Ticats in the third quarter to round out the scoring.

Haden Wiebe was the Ticats game MVP, while Ryan Stefanovic earned those honours for the Bombers.

“We worked really hard and finished our tackles,” said Wiebe.

Raiders 39 Colts 0

Burke Macdonald opened the scoring with a 70-yard touchdown run for the Raiders and added a 56-yard touchdown run in the third quarter for the Raiders who boasted a big-play offence all night.

Kadin Farnham had an 81-yard touchdown run, while Reece Sinclair had a 68-yard scoring run and Park Andrews had a 71-yard touchdown run.

Macdonald had four two-point converts, while Brayden Martin had the other one-point convert.

Farnham was the Raiders game MVP, while Levi Kelly was the Colts game MVP.
