Peacock beats Estevan 56-6 in HS football kick-off

The Peacock Tornadoes began defence of their Moose Jaw High School Football League title in grand style.
The Tornadoes scored four touchdowns in the first quarter and cruised to a 56-6 win over the Estevan Elecs Friday night in Estevan.
Nathan Fall ran for 161 yards off of nine carries and he also caught three passes for 83 yards. Fall scored four touchdowns of 23, 60, 25 and eight yards.
The Tornadoes led 28-0 after a quarter and 49-0 at the half.
Levi Paul caught five passes for 153 yards, including touchdown grabs of 55 and 38 yards.
Sawyer Buettner completed 8 of 13 passes for 246 yards in the win.
Aaron Forbes opened the scoring with an 80-yard touchdown for Peacock.
G. Barrett scored the Tornadoes other touchdown.
Action continues Saturday with a double-header at Gutheridge Field. The Vanier Vikings will host the Swift Current Colts at 1 p.m., while the Weyburn Eagles will travel to face the Central Cyclones at 3:15 p.m.
