Team to golf 16.5 hours to raise money for Canadian Cancer Society

On Monday, a team of three will be playing golf in Moose Jaw for 16 1/2 hours, or about 200 holes, to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society.

Moose Jaw North MLA Warren Michelson, Marc Frachette of GMAC Real Estate and Daryl Pisio of Golden West Radio have collected pledges for each hole played at Hillcrest Golf Course.

Across the province, Saskatchewan Party politicians will be participating in similar cancer fundraising and awareness golf events. Michelson said the party came up with the idea of holding the day long golfing fundraiser a couple of years ago.
