Mother Nature must not be a golf fan.
Why else would she first torment the players at the men's and ladies' senior provincial golf tournaments with miserable weather?
The first day featured mighty winds, while Wednesday had the golfers and course soaked in rain.
But in spite of the inhospitable climate, Moose Jaw's Ken Bradley managed to leapfrog the pack in the men's tournament to take the lead after two days with a six-over combined score of 150.
"I had one of those days where everything I did went right," he said from Yorkton. "I chipped and putted very well and anytime I missed a green, I got it up and down. Didn't make any major mistakes and ended up with 74."
Bradley holds a three-stroke lead on Percy Murray of Delisle and Herb Weinmeyer of North Battleford, who are tied for second.
Daryl Herchuk of Moose Jaw is tied for fourth with Saskatoon's Murray Eddy at 154.
