Anavets members win provincial golf title

Moose Jaw Anavets Club Unit No. 252 will hold a steak barbecue Aug. 30 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the club on High Street West.
Advance tickets are required and must be purchased before noon Aug. 24. The lounge will open prior to the barbecue at 3 p.m. Further information is available by calling 692-4412.
Unit members Ken Jattansingh, Norm Endicott, Chris Nelson and Ebb Eby won the Anavets provincial golf tournament held Aug. 8 in Moose Jaw.
Meat draws are held Saturdays at 4:30 p.m. and cribbage is played Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. with games open to anyone interested.
